I noticed the other day that I hadn’t touched my Xbox in weeks. OK, that’s not quite true. I’ve used it to watch Netflix and DVDs. And I think I know who’s to blame, this blog. You see, video games, like TV and the internet, have a peak time period when most people play them. See here. Those peak times overlap the time of one prime time TV show and blogging hours.
So, with that in mind, I present video game week. Today we start with the game that started it all for most of the people in my age bracket. Here we have Mario Mario, brother to Luigi Mario and longtime beau of Princess Peach. The character formerly known as Jumpman also fits this blog because his designers put a hat on him because drawing hair was hard and has a mustache because a mouth wouldn’t show up in 8 bit graphics. Once again an example of the age old rule, if you can’t draw it, cover it up.
